Reflection for today - the Heavenly Potter
This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD : "Go down to the potter's house, and there I will give you my message." So I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. - Jer 18:1-4 The Potter didn't just dump the clay aside and grab a fresh batch of clay to start over again. He took the clay that got marred and reshaped it. Remember that this is a human potter we see in the passage tho' so things did get marred in his hands. Thank God we are in the hands of Yahweh, our divine potter, so the only thing that tries to mar us is the world and badly made decisions by us... NOT Him =p Sometimes we feel like we've messed up big time, but we know that with Jesus as our divine potter, He will mould us and shape us so that what might have marred us, have contributed instead to helping Him mou...
