The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand [the side not carrying a shield]. (Psalm 121:5 AMP) I love the emphasis in brackets. It's a reminder that in areas where I don't naturally feel like I've got it going, or where I feel vulnerable, the LORD has already got it covered.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall NOT lack. :) As the apostle said b4, he has never seen a child of Abba's go without bread. Jesus is our provision. :) Amen!

Acts10:34 - "And Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons..." Reflection: God doesn't favour/ bless someone at your expense. You are equally highly favoured, greatly blessed and deeply loved because He loves you. Jesus died for all men, not a few individuals. Don't be like the elder brother of the prodigal son who was a sour grape. Remember the Father's response to him when he felt jealous or envious of his younger brother? We don't have to be jealous if we possess our sonship + our inheritance through Christ today even as we practice the presence of His love for us . ^.^

24/2/13 Sermon Notes from New Creation Church Singapore (Pastor Joseph Prince)

Andrew Lim's testimony - competitive swimmer who was told his meniscus was hurt and he might not be able to swim again. It meant he missed a meet and could attend legacy camp. He was healed completely. Was chosen to rept the universe in an ASEAN university meet. He fell sick and so couldn't train. He rested and came close to best timings during the race and won a gold medal.  We thank God for medical science but we thank God that what is impossible w men is possible w God.  Moses died without sickness or disease.  If Jesus should tarry and not return during our lifetime, let's believe we will live on strong and healthy.  "Beyond Death's Door"- testimonies of near death experience by a doc. Unbeliever. Noticed that when he brought believers back, they would be upset because they were with Jesus or in a lovely place. But unbelievers would scream and asked not to go back THERE because it is horrible and terrible. He prayed a prayer his mother taught him. And said...
My father-in-law suffered from a horrible pain in his knees for years. He is in his 70s. However, he has been experiencing a renewal in the Spirit and one day, after attending a healing service, realised the pain was gone! He described how he experienced warmth in his knees as he was being prayed over. The aircon was very cold in the church they were in and yet his knees felt warm to the touch and warm in the insides. He knew that the warmth was of the Spirit. =) Just a few years before that, he had experienced a complete healing of his glaucoma that had plagued him for so long. I really praise the LORD that despite their seniority, my in-laws have been experiencing what it is like to go against the impossible through the grace and mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ. As people grow older and complain of more aches and pains, I know their eyes will not grow dim nor their strength abated because of who they are in Christ- the redeemed! I praise the LORD also that we have seen how my sist...

Promises fulfilled...

In 2012, I had a dream that my folks came to church with us. It was middle 2012 and I woke up feeling very happy and puzzled. My folks are Roman Catholics and I cannot understand how they would want to come to our church with us as they were initially upset that I had decided to become a "protestant". In 2013, the first sermon of the year... the first sermon after my pastor ended the year telling us God's fulfillment of our hopes in 2012 might still come through in the last days of the year... my Dad was in the church with us. On the last weekend of the year, our son spoke to us to ask us to book seats for my Dad to attend church with us. So I clarified with my Dad. "Daddy, Kae says that he would like for you to attend service with us and that you said yes." My Dad said he did. So we booked tickets and we got seats and really good seats for The Star auditorium. I have seen my Dad nod off during mass but throughout the 2.5 hours or 3 hours of service he was...
