Got a message on Facebook just now that said - "You have been awarded @ http://bestchristianblogoftheweek.blogspot.com/" Wow. All glory to God always. Thanks for the award Cyberanger Daniel. It came as a very blessed surprise. Very humbled and feeling undeserving of the award really. ^.^" I was just telling Ian last night, although I am not serving in a ministry in Church, it does not mean that I can't serve God outside of the church. I am happy being a little post-it note flap for Christ. I am not a volume of Ocean-deep Words, but each tiny scrawl of mine - if it leads someone back into His arms or brings about healing, that is wonderful and for His glory alone. Every little seed sown, is just as significant - because the One who causes them to grow is the same Creator. There are other sowers, other watering cans - I am just one of a whole multitude of them. =) We don't all have to be a big voice, but if we would all just make a little noise for Christ, the Worl...

Best Christian Blog of the Week - all thanks to Jesus! =)

Rushing about preparing Ian's luggage bag for tonight's trip to Germany when I checked my Gmail to find out that our dear bro Cyberanger has very, very kindly awarded this blog Best Christian Blog of the Week again! =) See under March 15th 2009. And interestingly it was awarded for the day of rest and the day numbered grace. Praise the LORD! =) Feeling so blessed and encouraged right now. =D http://bestchristianblogoftheweek.blogspot.com/ All glory to Jesus and the great work He does in our lives and those of the children. This award is dedicated to Him first and foremost, to my hubby who is my dear prayer partner, and also to my little son, whom I hope will be encouraged to always abide in Christ =D. The Babel Connection

The earliest Chinese Writing dated back to 2700 BC . It is estimated that the Tower of Babel incident took place around 2700 BC . A coincidence??? Definitely not!!! In fact, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before there was Taoism or Confucianism in China, the Chinese worshipped the one true God - 上帝 (Shang Di) or LORD on High, the Supreme God. The similarities between Shang Di of the Chinese and Yahweh of the Jews is astounding. They are definitely the one, same God. Let's find out more about who Shang Di of the Chinese people is - According to Wikipedia - Shangdi is first mentioned in Chinese Literature in the Five Classics, (五經, pinyin: Wujing) allegedly compiled by Confucius in the 6th century BC. The Wujing was a collection of five books that represented the pinnacle of Chinese culture at that time.
