My friend asked me on MSN - u tink god will be disappointed in me for not being able to do anything? His sister seems to still lean toward abortion. My answer - Nope. You have done what you could. Now let Him do what He can. He can bless the broken road your sister walks on. He can love the baby whether she chooses to abort, give the child away or keep the child by her side. No matter what the decision the girl makes, one thing is for sure. The same grace we have is also available for her if she would receive it. Excerpt from an email i sent to a friend... I feel what I said in it sums up my feelings about the situation - I believe in speaking up for a life that has not the ability to speak for itself and for the truth that I believe to be so. At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their own view about what abortion terminates and whether it is okay - but for me, as a mother and also as a Christian, I see it as a life - that within that foetus is a potential to love and be love...

Miss G - the G thing... Miss G is an amazing English Literature teacher. I was only blessed to be under her wings for a year, but her zest for life and her spunk is something that has been etched in the deepest regions of my heart. Miss G has cancer and it has reached a stage where the doctors say it is inoperable. (Stubbornly, I believe that a miracle is not impossible - even at this point & I ask you to join me in praying for her.) G has inspired so many thoughts, so many dreams, so many things I write. There is a little bit of her in several characters of my stories - past and present and probably in the future. I read her blog today and I saw a quote that really echoed my feelings. "Sylvia Plath got it wrong ... She said, "Dying / is an art, like everything else. / I do it exceptionally well."No, It is Living ...Living is an art that like everything else ... we should strive to do it exceptionally well! Plath took the easy way out! Living is more difficult!"...

Mel, my littlest sis, has been facing challenges in school. Please pray that the angels encamp around her and that no weapons formed against her will prosper. Pray for favour and blessings to rain down on her and that she will be hidden in the secret place of the Most High. AMEN!

I have a friend, Liza*, who is expecting now. She was due in Sept but might have to give birth earlier than expected. She has been experiencing severe cramping recently and has been on bed rest for months. She has to go through a Caesarean birth because of an infection. The baby's dad is a real jerk too and has been verbally abusive towards her. =(( Please keep her in your prayers. *Liza is not her name, and I have promised not to reveal who she is and I respect her want for privacy, AND I also know Daddy in Heaven knows who you're praying for when you do. So just pray for Liza. Pray that by His stripes she is healed. Pray for her womb to be strong. Pray for her baby to arrive healthy and incredibly blessed. Pray that His shalom peace will come upon her. Pray that He will make a way for her and her family. Pray for the angels to encamp around her. Pray that she will be touched by His love and the shadows surrounding her will be chased away by the Light of His glory. Pray that t...
