Victory from our King

The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the lord is enthroned as King forever. The LORD gives strength to His people; the LORD blesses His people with SHALOM. - Psalm 29:10-11

Does it feel like the floodwaters are rising in your life? Do your trials feel heavy? Know that the Daddy God is King over the flood- not just this one, but every flood. What this means is that though you are in battle now, the outcome is a guaranteed victory- victory comes faster when we have maintain that good opinion of Him and continually praise Him through the storm. The flood was not caused by Him but He will scoop you out of the waters that threaten to drown you.

Each new day there is more than enough grace to help us cope with the day's tribulations. So tap into that grace through right belief. You see He gives us strength to conquer and also gifts us with His Shalom- wholeness, peace, prosperity or victory, provision,contentment. To have them we need only do one thing- receive.

I like to start with something funny - I heard about this pastor, he decided to skip church one Sunday and go play golf. He told his assistant he wasn't feeling well and he drove to another city's gold course there so no one would recognise him. He teed off at the first hole. All of a sudden a huge gust of wind caught his ball, carried it an extra hundred yard and blew it right into the hole for a 421 yard hole-in-one.
