God provides - Jehovah Jireh

Been feeling a little troubled because we have not had any new cheques coming in for now, and there are some changes that are being made in WSR that will change the way Ian gets paid.

Looking at what we have inside the fridge, I wonder how we will feed Kae throughout this school holidays and my Sayang who does not eat carbo. The former needs to eat good food for his growth, plus he is a bit fussy. The latter needs to be fed well and fully despite not eating carbo. Me ah? I eat udon with Miso and one egg and I am damn happy le =) Even Koka instant noodles satisfy me. I am the easiest person to feed. Everything also eat ha ha ha. I'd just cooked dinner (butter rice with raisin, sea shanty x 2, 1 sunny side up and a glass of milk - Kae; Kimchi Vegetable mix with chicken- Ian; Leftovers from Kae & tomatoes & a little bit of the Kimchi Vege - Geri) - so my mind is kinda fixated on how little food we have left.

I know that everytime I feel a little troubled at all, it is the enemy trying to rob my joy; hence, I immediately cried out to the LORD and abided in Him. I love hiding in the secret place of the most High whenever I feel the onset of an internal fight to retain my shalom.

Out of His graciousmess, as I cried out for comfort for the situation, He led me to open my bible.

I opened it and found myself looking into the depths of His love in Psalm 34. You know my last thought was on food right? The first sentence I saw was this:

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!

Hallelujah! =D Abba spoke right against my fears. He is seeing TASTE AND SEE the FOOD HE WILL PROVIDE! =) I dun care what the bank account reflects, the fridge shows me - God WILL provide and when He does, man is it BOUNTIFUL - the overflowing sorta bountiful! =D

I went on to read the rest of Psalm 34 which I am going to so meditate on =) Please note the following before you read. "Fear", used in the context of fearing the LORD, actually means worshipping Him in awe if you read the original Hebrew, and not being scared shitless in the English way of interpreting it. (See what a difference the translation makes?!?!)

Verse 13 tells us to not speak curses over ourselves or confess negatively as these are lies that the devil wants us to acknowledgeover our lives, so he has an open gateway to attack us. Remember we operate on free will, so if you confess badly over your life or a situation - your free will causes whaty ou confess to come into being. So if we want good things in our lives, we must declare God's blessings and protection over us, His provision and goodness. We must know that the truth is this - God longs to bless us and fill us so that our cup overflows and the bible tells us that we have neither wants nor needs because they are fully provided for by the riches of Christ's glory in the Heavens!

Also when you see the term "angel of the Lord", it refers to Christ. And "peace" refers to "shalom" in Hebrew - which means wholeness and health and peace.

I will praise the Lord at all times.
I will constantly speak his praises.
2 I will boast only in the Lord;
let all who are helpless take heart.
3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness;
let us exalt his name together.
4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.

He freed me from all my fears.
5 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
6 In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
he saved me from all my troubles.
7 For the angel of the Lord is a guard;
he surrounds and defends all who fear him.
8 Taste and see that the Lord is good.

Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
9 Fear the Lord, you his godly people,
for those who fear him will have all they need.
10 Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,
but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.
11 Come, my children, and listen to me,
and I will teach you to fear the Lord.
12 Does anyone want to live a life
that is long and prosperous?
13 Then keep your tongue from speaking evil
and your lips from telling lies!
14 Turn away from evil and do good.
Search for peace, and work to maintain it.
15 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;

his ears are open to their cries for help.
16 But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil;
he will erase their memory from the earth.
17 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help.
He rescues them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
19 The righteous person faces many troubles,

but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
20 For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous;
not one of them is broken!
21 Calamity will surely overtake the wicked,

and those who hate the righteous will be punished.
22 But the Lord will redeem those who serve him.
No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

Praise God! He is good all the time! His praise will forever be on our lips in this family, He never ever fails to provide for us and come to our help perfectly, just when we need it most. He is that faithful!!!!! AMEN!
