2 Sam 7:18 - King David went in and sat

2 Sam 7:18 - King David went in and sat before the LORD.

A small detail often overlooked here is this- David sat before God.

By sitting down, David renounced royal initiative, abdicated kingly authority, got himself out of the driver's seat, and deliberately and reverently placed himself before God his King.

David sat. An incredible feat when we begin to understand the conditions under which he did it- so full of desire for God he was, so bursting with plans for God.

Stopping David in that condition was like reigning in a team of runaway horses. But David let himself be stopped by God. We need to, like David, let go and let God be God.

Jesus take the wheel- Amen!

What the Anointing Oil is & Prayer for the Anointing Oil

Pastor Prince from New Creation Church has recently called upon the church members to use the Anointing Oil to bless every area of our lives. He had gone to Tiberius Church in Indonesia and seen how the anointing oil has made a difference to the Christians there. Good News -   Australia- Anonymous 6m ago sister went for eye test. Pressure was high and Doc say needed eye drops and needed to see specialist. Didn't want to have glaucoma. Took communion. Refused to worry. Worry is a choice. Went for check up and pressure was good. Eye pressure went further down in recent check up. Able to pursue career choice to be a pilot. All glory to Jesus.   Sister from our church. Charissa Three prayer requests and she felt troubled because 2/3 of her prayer request not met. Four days before last service, her request for her menstrual cycle resumed naturally! Then that week, her mother said her dad asked to go church with her and accepted Christ!! Her prayer requests were fulfilled at the very last time of the year and Jesus did it with such style.   Sermon starts- God sometimes may seem late but is always on time.   BLESSED NEW YEAR!
