The Strength of The LORD

Our relationship with God should be a proactive one. He is our defender and has provided us with an arsenal of heavenly weapons, but we need to pick them up and use them. A soldier at war doesn't go into battle empty handed. He goes armed. But it's pointless if he is armed but has no idea how to apply or use his weapon. He needs to read the manual. Our Bible is both our manual and our weapon- "God is strong, and He wants you strong. So take everything He has set out for you, well made weapons of the best materials. Put them to use so you'll be able to stand up to everything that the Devil throws your way... Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than just words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this warfare." - Ephesians 6:10-11, 13-17 (Message Bible)

Let's put on the armour God has kindly provided us so that we can face each day with no fear and a joyous understanding of Whose we are! :)

Pastor Lian has been in NCC for 20 years!! Joke- There was this really old obese lady who was so fat she had serious heart problem. One day she had heart attack and brought her to hospital and she died on op table. She came face to face with God and said sheepishly I guess my time is up… and God said no you are still young you are only 50 plus and you are a NCCer - u can live till 120 years. She woke up and told the doctor and told the doc she just want to have something else done. So she had an extreme makeover. It took a few mths and as she stepped out of the hospital, a car knocked her down and she died - God was as surprised to see her as she was to be back there. What the Anointing Oil is & Prayer for the Anointing Oil

Pastor Prince from New Creation Church has recently called upon the church members to use the Anointing Oil to bless every area of our lives. He had gone to Tiberius Church in Indonesia and seen how the anointing oil has made a difference to the Christians there. The senior pastor of Tiberius Church, Pastor Yesaya Pariadji, had been led by the Father to get his church to use the anointing oil radically. Good News -   Australia- Anonymous 6m ago sister went for eye test. Pressure was high and Doc say needed eye drops and needed to see specialist. Didn't want to have glaucoma. Took communion. Refused to worry. Worry is a choice. Went for check up and pressure was good. Eye pressure went further down in recent check up. Able to pursue career choice to be a pilot. All glory to Jesus.   Sister from our church. Charissa Three prayer requests and she felt troubled because 2/3 of her prayer request not met. Four days before last service, her request for her menstrual cycle resumed naturally! Then that week, her mother said her dad asked to go church with her and accepted Christ!! Her prayer requests were fulfilled at the very last time of the year and Jesus did it with such style.   Sermon starts- God sometimes may seem late but is always on time.   BLESSED NEW YEAR!
