How to Study the Bible - With Jeff (point form)

Diff ppl treat bible diff - some treat bible as instruction manual, some treat as storybook, textbook. Jeff likes to treat it as a love letter.

"Make Your Word ccome alive for me." - Jeff

Go by theme or read systemetically.

Not how much you read but how much you understand.

Knowing the Will of God
1) Resting in Christ Prov 3:6 - trust and ackonowledging His Direction
2) Confirming with Mature Christians (safety in counsellors) - Acts 27 - they concerned abt personal agenda vs God's agenda
3) Confirming with the Word of God
4) Go by the peace in your heart. We go by the desires (aligned with Christ).

JESUS
OTHERS
YOU
- Jeff's personal guideline

Jesus not the bible is our map. =) A lot of things cannot be found in the bible.

A lot of people create to do list and expect God to do it and then these people also do according to their list.

When we come to His presence, He wants us to enjoy Him and His Word... not go by checklist. =D

When we approach Him be favour conscious. Not self conscious.

Rejoice in Him everyday. =D

Enjoy r/s with Him. =)

Jesus said His yoke is easy... I am carrying His yoke not my yoke. It's an easy yoke.

We dun live for God. It is Christ living in and through you. =)

We free flow with Him everyday - every moment is Happy Hour with Jesus. =D

Continue to encourage and share the Word with others.

Mark 11:23-24 - Do we blv we have already received it? If we have, then why are we still questioning God??

Doing flows out of the being.

Greatest Faith is Childlike faith =D

Never lose that sense of wonder of how God loves you =)

Some ppl have big dreams but dun do the little things like reaching out and touching a heart for Christ.

God is a God of small things too. =)
