Stand up inside!
Think about David- before he became king, he returned to his home town one day to find it razed to the ground, robbed of all its belongings and all its women and children kidnapped. He should have sat around, moping and mourning if he went along his natural emotions, but instead he ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD. This allowed God to reveal to him that he can go against the enemy successfully and recover all that they'd been rob of.
Develop a victor's mentality and declare that though you don't understand what's happening, that you know God's still in charge; if He is for you, what or who can be against you? No weapons formed against you will prosper!
Our Heavenly Daddy is waiting for you to get up on the inside like David. If you learn how to, no adversity or attack can ever get you down again. :)
Amen! I was reading Joshua Lye's book last nite and under the chapter of the leading of the Holy Spirit, under the voice of our soul, he mentioned
ReplyDelete"An emotional person has a tendency to be led by the emotions. A highly emotional person tends to be impulsive and Satan can take advantage of these uncontrolled emotions through depressions, unforgiveness (of ourselves?) and bitterness. We need to allow our emotions to be subordinate to our spirit-man.In this way, our emotions can benefit from the love, joy and peace that come from the Holy Spirit through our spirit-man (rom 5:1-5)
Sometimes i think i want to know the hows? the process of getting there? but such knowledge is vain now that i think about it. :p it can get us into it without enjoying the process itself.
