Making Positive the Negative

"He said unto them, Give place: for the girl is not dead, but is asleep. And they laughed him to scorn. But when the people were thrown out, Jesus went in, and took her by the hand, and the girl arose." (Matthew 9:24-25).

In life there will always be hecklers- people who not only fail to support our hopes for a situation in our lives to be resurrected, they make us feel worse by putting us down and by stomping over whatever hope we have left.

We may be unable to stop them from talking, but we can ignore them and walk out our faith.

Imagine Noah- it's never rained before, no one's heard of it. And he's building a huge ark. When he tells people what he's doing and why upon their enquiry, the whole lot of them probably mistake him for a nut. I'm sure they gave voice to those thoughts too. But did Noah stop to give value to their rants? No. The ark was completed on time, the animalls and Noah were safe.
What about Nehemiah? There were men trying to hinder his work. So he dusted them off and said to them, "I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?" (Nehemiah 6:3).

And if these two men can't convince you to learn how to ignore the naysayers, take a leaf from the LORD's book- he threw the negative people out of the situation and the positive manifestation took place. :)

Time to grab those insecurities and anxieties and throw them out along with the negative influences in your life! Walk in His light and press on. Then watch as you soar over the choppy waves in your personal ark- Christ. :) You're locked in- safe and secure in Him. You won't fall out. He's got you under His wings.
