Talking about songs

I used to sing this song from Sound of Music to Ian - the part where Maria annd Captain Von Trapp kissed in the moonlight.

She sang "Nothing comes from nothing. Nothing ever would. It must have been my youth or childhood. I must have done something good."

I have stopped singing that tho' lol now that I know that all thee blessings I have come not from what I did but from what He did! Everything I am blessed with came about because of everything He lost on the cross. Every healing I have comes from His broken body on the cross. My righteousness is not from my efforts either but because we are all the righteousness of God in Christ.

I am finding it so hard to enjoy secular songs because their lyrics just don't agree with what I believe in, and I don't wanna sing along to lies (I wonder if that is somewhat speaking wrongly over one self to sing lyrics one knows is salah to the brim). Hillsong boleh! NCC praise and worship cds boleh! Bring on Matt Redman, Fireflight, Chris Tomlin, Selah, etc etc

Lol. Christian music ROCKS!

Pastor Lian has been in NCC for 20 years!! Joke- There was this really old obese lady who was so fat she had serious heart problem. One day she had heart attack and brought her to hospital and she died on op table. She came face to face with God and said sheepishly I guess my time is up… and God said no you are still young you are only 50 plus and you are a NCCer - u can live till 120 years. She woke up and told the doctor and told the doc she just want to have something else done. So she had an extreme makeover. What the Anointing Oil is & Prayer for the Anointing Oil

Pastor Prince from New Creation Church has recently called upon the church members to use the Anointing Oil to bless every area of our lives. He had gone to Tiberius Church in Indonesia and seen how the anointing oil has made a difference to the Christians there. Good News -   Australia- Anonymous 6m ago sister went for eye test. Pressure was high and Doc say needed eye drops and needed to see specialist. Didn't want to have glaucoma. Took communion. Refused to worry. Worry is a choice. Went for check up and pressure was good. Eye pressure went further down in recent check up. Able to pursue career choice to be a pilot. All glory to Jesus.   Sister from our church. Charissa Three prayer requests and she felt troubled because 2/3 of her prayer request not met. Four days before last service, her request for her menstrual cycle resumed naturally! Then that week, her mother said her dad asked to go church with her and accepted Christ!! Her prayer requests were fulfilled at the very last time of the year and Jesus did it with such style.   Sermon starts- God sometimes may seem late but is always on time.   BLESSED NEW YEAR!
