K eats spicy Indian chad & survives! :)

Anyone who knows Kae will know this - he is not an adventurious eater and he doesn't usually eat spicy food. All that is set to change though! =D

Twice we have brought Kae with us to eat Northen Indian fare (we feed him first, the dinner is ours lah) and twice he has shown interest in eating the Chad (Appetiser). He truly seems to enjoy them... Lol.

The other day, as a treat, my dear hubby brought us both to Bombay Cafe to check it out. In our honest opinion, one is better of eating at Shish Mahal or Madras Woodlands or Masala Arts - food is better with better value, but Bombay Cafe has an interesting thing where they've put 3 chads on their buffet menu. So we ordered 2 of them to try. I forget their name but I will add them here once I recall them.

When the dishes came, Kae's curiosity was piqued and spoon after spoon started devouring our chads in small bites. At first he had to drink water with each bite, but he soon realised he was able to take 3 bites before feeling the need to douse the flame out. =D We were so proud of him!

Just 2 days back, my Dad shared that Kae had finished almost all the spicy tofu in his rice packet. My dad had purchased it not knowing the tofu were spicy. It was only after he finished his lunch that Kae started gulping water and telling my Dad they were hot. Lol.

Yay Kae! Keep this spirit of culinary adventure and derring-do up! Soon you'll be munching butter chicken and the likes with us. Hahaha.

(Love the facial expression!!)
