Reflections on Anger

It's ok to feel angry, don't feel condemned about it. The important thing however is that you do not act on your anger. :) Anger, like pain, is a warning signal. It warns us that we're being mistreated. Our job is not so much to be rid of it, but to learn how to bring it under control. "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath (your exasperation, your indignation, your fury)" -Ephesians 4:26.

God wants to bless you but anger opens the door for the devil to keep the blessings from you, and to prevent you from accomplishing the will of God in your life.

Scripture teaches us- when you are angry don't sin. Don't be led or motivated by your emotions to say or do something you regret. Don't say what you want to say, or do what you want to do as these lead to further problems.

Emotions go up but they also come down. Wait for your emotions to subside before you decide on a course of action.
