Notes from Disc 1 of seeing God's grace in the Hebrew Language
Grace provokes people.
What pleases man? Preaching work because they feel like they've contributed and earned something.
But when you preach grace - that the undeserved received favour - all the colours come out.
Name of God -Yud Hei Vav Hei - Jehovah in English
In Hebrew, Yosef not Joseph... Y not J

In the Hebrew letter, for every alphabet is a pic.
Aleph - ox
Beth- house
Gimmel - camel
Daled - Door
Hei - no one knows the pic, rabbi says it is a mystery... so they put window looks out to something,
Letters - numerical becoz Hebrew has no numbers. Alphabets all have numerical value. Every alphabet = musical note.

2 Heis = God is FULL of GRACE
Jn 1:16-17 - grace for grace... grace and truth came through Christ. Truth is on the side of grace not law.
In Hei all things were created - Jews
Hei = mystery = came through Christ = grace
Abram and Sarai needed a miracle to have a child. Natural means all failed.
God changed their names and within a year the miracle child came.

Yud represents the number of 10 - which represents the Law.

Abram to Abraham (Gen 17:5) - God also gave His Hei to Abraham. Abram = exalted father, but not a blessing. Abraham = father of many, blessing to many.
Abraham = 5 letters (number of grace)
Abram = 4 letters (number of creation)
Abram formed of:
Aleph Beth - Abba (Father) + Beth Resh (Bar/ Son) + Mem (Water - Spirit of God moved above the Waters in Genesis) --> God the father, God the Son, Holy Spirit = Triune God
Grace = slow but sure; healthy, strong, eternal.
Many places can preach God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit = no miracle.... but when you put Grace between the Son and Holy Spirit - Woohoo! =D People see that God is gracious to them - unearned, unmerited, undeserved favour.
Jesus came to bring grace so we can have the holy spirit to be our helper.
Law does not grade on the curve, perfection or else.
The woman with issue of blood saw that Christ is full of grace so He saw her faith. Not for us to see our faith. For Christ to see our faith.
Have I seen Jesus lately? Jesus is the author and finisher of Faith.
God promised Abraham and Sarah for years, but the manifestation came when they saw grace.

What is He blessing with?
The Word Barak (not Barakah) only appears in Gen 14 for the first time!!
When we are a blessing - The Son's hand extended to bring us Grace
Jesus is Abraham's seed in which we are ALL blessed.
Isa 30:15 - returning = days of atonement (teshuvah - yom kippur)

Returning to Hei = Repentance = Returning to Grace
Metanoya = Change your mind (Greek for Repentance)
God's way of repentance = deep and quiet --> change your mind happens when you are in church and listening to an anointed sermon.
Grace = stop trusting your efforts
You work because God gives us work for own fulfilment to express the talents He has given us. Job is to give satisfaction not a curse.
Success = grace given, God given.
When you are satisfied with your job, the Barakah flows.

--> Think of/ Meditate on the Sacrifice and Speak of the Sacrifice to receive Healing =D
Surely He has borne my diseases!

Foolish - lack of kg, dunno scripture
Slow of heart to believe - slow to believe the Word of Christ, know but cannot believe
When we attend bible study we must see Him in the Scriptures -> He shut their eyes so we can have the same hope they had, because at the end of the journey felt heartwarmed not because they saw Jesus in the flesh but saw Jesus in the Scriptures!!!
Jesus wanted them to see Him first in the bible.
So today we have the same equal oppy - we dun have to see Him with flesh eyes to be transformed. We see Him in the Bible, with Spirit eyes in the Word of Christ.
Fallen from Grace = actions, work, effort
Our part is to see we have no part but to see His part or we will come apart
2 Cor 3;18 - Beholding - we ae transformed by the same image we behold - glory to glory
As He is healthy at your right hand side, I am as well in this World. Jesus is my identity.
Our "Have To"s are our biggest hindrance to receiving the power of the HS in our lives!

But we have Christ - that is what is different - GRACE!
