Marching in the LIGHT of the LORD! =)

"Anyone who intends to come with Me has to let Me lead. You're not in the Driver's seat, I AM." - Mark 8:34 MSG

At the end of the week, a few issues popped up hot from the toaster oven.

1) My Dad was hospitalised... we're still awaiting diagnosis.

2) A good friend lost her job because she is no longer a controversial, bad gurl... she's a single mum with 2 kids in the Media line.

I believe that my Dad is the healed of Jesus and I find it amusing that first of all, he had just done a cancer screening (dad is very scared of getting stomach cancer as my mum's mum had a tough time with hers) and that result would have been available middle of next week. I wonder if the fear coupled with his just coming to have more interest in a closer walk with Jesus, was the reason why he was singled out for this attack. Hmmm...

Secondly my good friend just accepted Christ recently and the moment she decided to receive Him, she has been attacked very badly. Her son fell sick, problems started surfacing at work culminating with her being sacked just on Friday.

The thing is praise God, she has been maintaining a good attitude. Trusting God regardless of what happens. She has had strong pagan influences before and it was temmpting to fall back on those supports, but she has chosen to continue leaning on Christ, trusting in Him. I've also been encouraging her and doing my best to water her heart soil with encouragements from the Word of God.

It has been challenging for me also because as you all know I've not been well for the last few weeks but trusting that we are te anointed of the LORD and that things can only get better. AMEN? =D Kae also revealed that his throat is hurting again - and we reject it in Christ! AMEN!

Gonna keep marching in the light of the LORD and praising Him in this storm. Keep us all in prayer. =D

Can't wait for Ian to touch down safe and sound this evening. =) It will be good to have my wonderful prayer partner and husband around again.

P/S: Sorry for the 2 earlier posts being empty- they actually contained sound recordings but it didn't appear. Will figure that out later on as I have to rush Kae to school now. =) Blessed weekend and share the sermon outline with me hor! =)
