The faces behind the names =D

I met up with the regular bloggers who gather at Malcolm's blog to edify each other and it was a very wonderful lunchtime fellowship. =)

We got together just outside Stanley's dessert stall at Bkt Timah Food Centre - Malcolm, Jeffrey, Joo, Kevin, Angie (and her 2 little boys), Stanley and his mum. Malcolm took a pic to commemorate the occassion and I can't wait for him to put it up so I kapo it for this entry =D. He also very kindly "chiah" (treated) us to desserts from Stanley's stall. Really sweet of him. Thanks Malcolm!

It was really nice to get to know the people behind the names we saw on the blogosphere at last.
Each and everyone of them was grace filled and it was awesome how we all knew that this was no chance encounter, but truly a circle of people brought together by the Holy Spirit. Praise God!

It was particularly wonderful to meet Angie, who is a beautiful daughter of Sarah, at last. We had so much to share and she is a very gracious and lovely sister in Christ. Her sons Alistair and Gerald were so cuuuuuuuuuuuute. Alistair is a bright boy who loves Transformers too - I can tell that Kae and Alistair will enjoy playing together. Gerald is about the same age as Roberto's son, Isaiah, and super adorable.

After lunch together (thanks Angie!), we headed off to Campus Crusade to check out the books there as well as to my place after so that Gerald could have his feed. =) It was just good to dwell in the LORD's presence together and share.

The guys also told us about the bi-weekly Christian fellowship gatherings at Joshua Lye's place. Joshua Lye has written an excellent book, "Walking on Water", that explains the gospel of grace in an easy to read and moving way. He is also from New Creation and his life transformed a lot since he left the Lutheran church where he was from. I've read Joshua Lye's book and it is truly inspired writing. His blogs are very edifying as well.

I've told Ian about them and we might check it out. The next gathering is on the 14th of Aug and is at Ang Mo Kio. Always game for a good evening of fellowship and just abiding in Christ. =D

Iron sharpens Iron and I feel very sharpened by my fellow brothers and sisters-in-Christ this afternoon. Will blog more about this once I am finished with my ep2 script. ^.^
