Praise God!

Last weekend, I passed my Father-in-Law (or rather Dad-in-Grace (DIG)... Abba has been so kind to bless me with such wonderful parents through my marriage to Ian =D) a copy of Destined To Reign. I also emailed him an email akin to this posting.

My DIG is from the Methodist church - most of Ian's family members are too. I think the exception is my eldest sister-in-grace whose family attends St.Andrews Cathedral and are Anglicans.

This afternoon, my Dad-in-Grace sent his reply...

Dear Geri,
Your pastor's preaching is indeed bible-based. Thank God for that as that is as it should be. No preacher has the right to deviate from biblical teachings.

We'll have more to say on biblical texts when we next meet.

I can't wait for our sharing session when we next meet. I enjoy conversations with my DIG becoz he is a very well-read and witty man & there is oft' so much to glean from his sharings.

May God fill Ian, Kae and I with the grace, wisdom, love, patience and mind of Christ to be able to reach out and touch hearts for Jesus - whether it is within our family or the many friends (old and new) that we have. AMEN! Praise Jesus!

What the Anointing Oil is & Prayer for the Anointing Oil

Pastor Prince from New Creation Church has recently called upon the church members to use the Anointing Oil to bless every area of our lives. He had gone to Tiberius Church in Indonesia and seen how the anointing oil has made a difference to the Christians there. The senior pastor of Tiberius Church, Pastor Yesaya Pariadji, had been led by the Father to get his church to use the anointing oil radically. Good News -   Australia- Anonymous 6m ago sister went for eye test. Pressure was high and Doc say needed eye drops and needed to see specialist. Didn't want to have glaucoma. Took communion. Refused to worry. Worry is a choice. Went for check up and pressure was good. Eye pressure went further down in recent check up. Able to pursue career choice to be a pilot. All glory to Jesus.   Sister from our church. Charissa Three prayer requests and she felt troubled because 2/3 of her prayer request not met. Four days before last service, her request for her menstrual cycle resumed naturally! Then that week, her mother said her dad asked to go church with her and accepted Christ!! Her prayer requests were fulfilled at the very last time of the year and Jesus did it with such style.   Sermon starts- God sometimes may seem late but is always on time.   BLESSED NEW YEAR!
