Iris - Flower. The Iris is unique among all the flowers in the world. It has the best symbolic flower meanings among all flowers, and it symbolizes trust. The iris flower meanings portray the importance of someone's friendship. The iris flower meanings hail the glory of truth, friendship and trust. (Agreed!!)

Vivienne - Lively (Agreed!!)

Ian's Chi Chi's name means...

Sylvia - Wood, Forest. Biblically wood represents the humanity of Christ. Interesting to note that certain woods in the bible talk about how Christ's humanity is incorruptible. =)

Ian's Chi Chi's Hubby's name means...

Dennis - form of Dionysios a judge converted to Christianity by Paul. Also the name of the God of Wine in Greek mythology and is also said to mean wild or frenzied.

Our nieces' names mean...

Joyce - Latin. A form of Joycelyn. Means joyful.

Anna - Hebrew. A form of Hannah. Means gracious.

Clarissa -Greek. Means brilliant. (Ta Chi - good choice of names for the 3 gals)

Danielle - Hebrew. Means God is my judge. ( Danielle knows who her real boss is...grins. Dun play play ah...)

Faith - Means faith, loyalty. (I love Danielle's middle name - simple and beautiful in meaning.)

Ian's Chi Chi's SIL's name means...

Doreen - French. Means golden. (Agreed!! Doreen is a golden girl in every way. Gold in bible represents God's holiness. =) Doreen you are set apart and made holy in Christ Jesus. Never forget that!) =D

Ian's Chi Chi's best gal pal's name (and also the name of my dear xiao mei mei) means...

Melissa - honey bee (there is apparently a Greek fairytale behind this name. =D )

Andrea - lady. strong, courageous, magnetic, powerful. (Agreed!!)

Charmaine - a little song, a source of joy (Agreed!!)

Lydia - of Lydia. Standing Pool. Beauty. (Agreed!!)

Pastor Lian has been in NCC for 20 years!! Joke- There was this really old obese lady who was so fat she had serious heart problem. One day she had heart attack and brought her to hospital and she died on op table. She came face to face with God and said sheepishly I guess my time is up… and God said no you are still young you are only 50 plus and you are a NCCer - u can live till 120 years. She woke up and told the doctor and told the doc she just want to have something else done. So she had an extreme makeover. It took a few mths and as she stepped out of the hospital, a car knocked her down and she died - God was as surprised to see her as she was to be back there. Just then, the angels sheepishly admitted - they could not recognise her. What the Anointing Oil is & Prayer for the Anointing Oil

Pastor Prince from New Creation Church has recently called upon the church members to use the Anointing Oil to bless every area of our lives. He had gone to Tiberius Church in Indonesia and seen how the anointing oil has made a difference to the Christians there. The senior pastor of Tiberius Church, Pastor Yesaya Pariadji, had been led by the Father to get his church to use the anointing oil radically. He had a vision of a biblical quotation when he was still not yet a Christian - he had no idea what it was. When he became a pastor, he finally understood what it meant. Good News -   Australia- Anonymous 6m ago sister went for eye test. Pressure was high and Doc say needed eye drops and needed to see specialist. Didn't want to have glaucoma. Took communion. Refused to worry. Worry is a choice. Went for check up and pressure was good. Eye pressure went further down in recent check up. Able to pursue career choice to be a pilot. All glory to Jesus.   Sister from our church. Charissa Three prayer requests and she felt troubled because 2/3 of her prayer request not met. Four days before last service, her request for her menstrual cycle resumed naturally! Then that week, her mother said her dad asked to go church with her and accepted Christ!! Her prayer requests were fulfilled at the very last time of the year and Jesus did it with such style.   Sermon starts- God sometimes may seem late but is always on time.   BLESSED NEW YEAR!
